Make a photo slideshow with music without installing an editor

A photo slideshow can turn pictures from your phone into a video you can download. Picmovia provides a guided photo-and-music workflow without a traditional editing timeline, an account, or a media upload to our server.

1. Choose photos that tell a story

Select a small set of clear pictures from different moments. A carefully chosen selection usually feels more intentional than a large group of nearly identical images. Picmovia accepts 2 to 16 photos and centers portrait images without cutting off the subject.

2. Arrange pictures and add music

Use the arrow controls to rearrange photos. Choose a local MP3, M4A or WAV file up to 10 minutes long, and make sure you have the rights to use the music. Picmovia does not download audio from YouTube or other streaming sites.

3. Repeat photos or show them once

The default setting repeats your pictures until the song ends. This works well for an informal slideshow or a continuous tribute. You can also choose to show every photo once and distribute the sequence across the length of your music.

4. Preview and create a file

Check the order and optional text in the preview. Picmovia aims to export MP4 with H.264 video at 1280 × 720 (16:9) and AAC sound when the browser supports it. If not, it can offer an explicitly labeled alternative format.

5. Watch the finished result

Test the file on the device or television you plan to use. Keep a copy after downloading; the free tool does not retain your project or store videos on its servers.
