Copyright, music and photo permissions
Uploading a music file from your device does not automatically give you permission to put the track in a new video. Photos and recorded audio may carry third-party rights even if you received them through a messaging app.
What music can I include?
Use music you created, music you are authorized to synchronize with video, or recordings under a license that permits your specific use and distribution. Many personal streaming subscriptions do not include synchronization rights.
Why is there no YouTube audio import?
Picmovia does not provide a way to extract audio from YouTube. A streaming link does not automatically grant permission to download a song, reuse the recording or incorporate it into a downloadable video.
Photos and image rights
Consider the privacy and image rights of people shown in photographs, including living relatives. Permission and risk can differ between a private family screening and public distribution on social platforms.
Report a concern
Use the Contact page to describe a rights-related concern. Because the generator does not upload media to our servers, we normally cannot access or remove videos stored on visitors’ devices.
